This Wednesday evening (21 Oct) get together with others as we wrestle with the biblical text and our own lives.
We will start with the psalm for the week - Psalm 34:1-8 and work with the following questions...
Is 'being delivered from all my fears' about never fearing anything ever again or are there other ways to understand this deliverence?
There is no promise that the poor man will become less poor as a result of the deliverence of the Lord. How else might God's deliverence work?
The word 'rescue' has within its root meaning 'to be drawn out'. How have you experienced God rescuing you as an experience of being drawn out?
